!!! HEY !!!! IT"S A BIO As a frusturated drummer I turned to the bass for comfort one day, because
almost everyone in Campbell, Ohio,(hometown) also played drums. I fell in love with the bass, and I've been there ever
since. I started playing the electric bass at the age of 18. I was aided by a friend, whom I prefer to call a Guitar Virtiuoso,
named Micheal McClendon. He was then and to this day the hottest guitarist that I shared some tunes with. I remember how he
used to come and take me to concerts, just so I could broaden my musical horizons. I actually owe my style of play to his
influence. I remember our first power trio well. It consisted of Mike,a drummer named Harold Rollins, who could also sing
as well if not better than any frontman vocalist there has ever been, and myself. We covered everything from Jimi Hendrix,
Led Zepplin, Parliament Funkedelic, to Graham Central Station. We called ourselves The Three Peace Miracle Band. If you find
that difficult to believe, it would really have impressed you to come and see what I called the Air Show. You see it wasn't
Mike Jordan who actually started those gravity defying leaps into the air. It was Mike McClendon with his series of
leaps and flips while playing hot leads on his axe. And all this was done during the pre-wireless era. Meaning all of the
Air Show was done while his Axe and Amp were connected by a cable. (maybe that's what kept him earthbound.) Anyway, I
just wanted to give some shoutouts to the main crew that I used to jam with while I was in Ohio. So to Mike,Harold,Lamar Mitchell,Mike
Ferris, Wicked, Good Luck with everything you try to accomplish !!!!! My Gear has changed drastically over the years,
and it will continue to change until I find THE SOUND. Right now I'm using an ESP-LTD, 5 string Electric Bass, which I
have nick named, CARMEN. And I use a Spector Legend 5 Custom, which I named GRETEL. I also use a hotrodded 5 string Yamaha
RBX5 with Alembic P-J configured active pick-ups, set up by some of my music store buddies. I nicknamed this one Blondy. My
gig rig consists of: ADA,MB-1, MIDI pre-amp and a Alesis RA 100 Power Amp. For smaller gigs I use a Behringer BXL900
Combo Amp.
I use different variations of speakers: 2*115 speaker cabs w/5in. mid drivers and horns. I just added
a GenzBenz 410ST cabinet, and a Genz Benz 210T cabinet. For effect pedals I currently use a DOD Envelope Filter, and
a ZOOM 506 bass multi effect pedal. When I play outdoor gigs I combine everything !!!
